Version 3 Is Live!
Twitch Emotes version 3 of the site is now live which will better scale to the increasing number of emotes and new features that may be introduced in the future.
Changes:
- Better Performance
- Channel URLs have been changed to use IDs - old URLs will redirect to their new location
- API V3 - check out details on the API page
- Descriptions on global emotes are currently disabled until this feature is reworked

Twitchemotes started out with the purpose of automatically updating to display all the subscriber emotes available on Twitch but quickly grew to become the most popular source for emote codes on the interwebs.
